The steak is seasoned to perfection, seared to a juicy medium-rare, and served alongside golden brown fries. The chili pepper sauce adds a fiery kick that elevates the dish to a whole new level of deliciousness.

Ingredients:

For the Steak:

  • 2 boneless ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary

For the Fries:

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into fries

  • Vegetable oil for frying

  • Salt to taste

For the Chili Pepper Sauce:

  • 2 red chili peppers, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Steak:

  • Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add minced garlic and rosemary sprigs.

  • Place the steaks in the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time to your desired doneness.

  • Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  1. Make the Fries:

  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).

  • Fry the potato fries in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch.

  • Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Season with salt while still hot.

  1. Prepare the Chili Pepper Sauce:

  • In a small saucepan, combine chopped chili peppers, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.

  • Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.

  • Remove from heat and set aside.

  1. Serve:

  • Slice the rested steaks against the grain.

  • Arrange the sliced steak on a serving platter alongside the crispy fries.

  • Drizzle the chili pepper sauce over the steak or serve it on the side for dipping.

  • Garnish with additional fresh rosemary sprigs if desired.

  • Enjoy your delicious seared steak and fries with a spicy chili pepper sauce!
