Jalapeno Mayo & Chicken Sandwich


This gourmet chicken sandwich features tender grilled chicken breast, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato slices, and a zesty kick from Jissie Sussie Jalapeño Mayo, all nestled between slices of golden, freshly toasted artisanal bread. Perfect for a satisfying lunch with bold flavors and a hint of heat!



Ingredients:

  • Artisanal loaf of bread (like sourdough or ciabatta)

  • Grilled chicken breast, sliced

  • Fresh lettuce leaves

  • Tomato slices

  • Cucumber slices (optional)

  • Jalapeño slices (optional for extra heat)

  • Jissie Sussie Jalapeño Mayo

  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the bread:

    • Slice the artisanal loaf in half horizontally to create the sandwich base.

    • Lightly toast both halves for a crisp texture.

  2. Grill the chicken:

    • Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.

    • Grill the chicken over medium heat until fully cooked (about 6-7 minutes per side, depending on thickness).

    • Once done, let it rest for a few minutes and then slice thinly.

  3. Assemble the sandwich:

    • Spread a generous layer of Jissie Sussie Jalapeño Mayo on the bottom slice of the bread.

    • Place fresh lettuce leaves on top.

    • Add a few slices of grilled chicken on top of the lettuce.

    • Layer with tomato slices and cucumber slices (if using).

    • Optionally, add jalapeño slices for extra spice.

  4. Top with more mayo:

    • Drizzle another layer of Jissie Sussie Jalapeño Mayo over the veggies and chicken.

    • Sprinkle some freshly chopped parsley for extra flavor.

  5. Finish the sandwich:

    • Place the top half of the bread over the fillings.

    • Slice the sandwich in half, and serve immediately!
