Ingredients:
1kg chicken wings, split at joints, tips removed
60 ml hot honey
30 ml soy sauce
30 ml olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
5 ml smoked paprika
2.5 ml salt
1.25 ml black pepper
Optional: chopped cilantro and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Marinate Wings: In a large bowl, whisk together hot honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Arrange Wings: Place the marinated chicken wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, leaving space between each wing.
Bake Wings: Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, turning once halfway through the cooking time, or until the wings are cooked through and golden brown.
Glaze Wings: About 5-10 minutes before the wings are done, brush them generously with additional hot honey.
Garnish and Serve: Once the wings are cooked through and nicely glazed, remove them from the oven. Garnish with chopped cilantro and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
