Easy Garlic & Chili Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 baguettes or any crusty bread of your choice

  • 4-5 tablespoons garlic & chili dip (adjust to taste)

  • 100g butter (optional, softened)

  • Fresh parsley or chives (optional, finely chopped for garnish)


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Mixture:

    • In a small bowl, mix the garlic & chili dip. If using butter, combine it with the dip for a creamier, richer spread. Adjust the ratio based on your preference.

  2. Slice the Bread:

    • Using a sharp knife, cut slits into the baguette, making sure not to slice all the way through. Leave about 1cm at the base so the bread stays intact.

  3. Spread the Mixture:

    • Generously spoon or spread the garlic and chili dip (with or without butter) into each slit. For extra flavor, you can also smear some across the top of the bread.

  4. Wrap and Bake:

    • Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10-12 minutes. This helps the flavors infuse into the bread.

  5. Crisp It Up:

    • For a crispy finish, unwrap the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

  6. Serve Warm:

    • Garnish with fresh parsley or chives for an added touch, and serve immediately.
